An island off the coast of British Columbia is known for its white bears. These bears are not Polar Bears, and are considered to hold spiritual properties by the native peoples of the region. They only occur in about ten percent of the bear population of the island, and for these reasons, they are protected. I have chosen a white patina for this bear in honor of the Spirit Bear.
